One day before Edward became a vampire he met a girl named Melissa. Edward loved her and they planned to get married when he came back from the war. Before he left Melissa told Edward that she was pregnant and that they were going to have they baby once Edward would get back and that would be in about 8 months. During the eight months Edward get badly hurt and that's when Carlisle thought of changing Edward into a vampire. After Edward transformed he went to Melissa but he couldn't tell her what he had transferred into so he told her that night that he was a vampire and she said that he had better go before she tells and he did and after that Edward had visited his son once a week just to check up on him. Edward had swore the next time he falls in love he would be more careful and put up a wall so that he knows the next woman who does fall in love with him will love him no matter what he is.

Bella just met Edwards parents and they were very pleased to meet her except for Rosalie. Edward met Charlie, Bella's dad and then they went to play baseball with Edwards family. While they were playing some vampires came and one of them James, liked Bella. I think Edward will end up killing that guy James, the one who wants to kill Bella. I think he will end up with Bella in the end. This story made me wonder about how Bella was off with a vampire while her friends were at a dance and didn't even know, it made me think what are my friends really doing while I'm home or off doing whatever. I believe if i was a character in the story i would've acted differently like if i was Bella i wouldn't just be an umpire i would actually be playing with them not just watching on the side lines. My least favorite character is Bella i don't like her because she has no personality she's just there. I don't know why Edward would like her she has no charisma.

''And so the lion fell in love with the lamb. . ., he murmured. I looked away, hiding my eyes as i thrilled to the word. What a stupid lamb i sighed.'' This means if this were real life a lion would never fall in love with a lamb because the lion would like nothing more but to hurt the lamb but Edward being a vampire in all would like Bella a human to suck her blood. So they say what a stupid lamb because Edwards the one who can't control himself but Bella is also the stupid one for falling in love with a vampire which is just like a lion. It also means that it's both their faults that they fell in love not only Edwards and not only Bella's because it took both of them and Bella is as guilty as Edward because she could of stopped the whole thing but she didn't. She could of told Edward that she didn't want to go on the hike with him or even talk to him during class but she did and he did too. So basically the lions Edward and the lamb is Bella.

Last summer i decided to take a little vacation to Washington i really wanted to see the Nationals vs. the Giants but i got lost after the game and ended up in a little town in forks. It was late and i was to tired to drive back plus i didn't have money for a hotel and i was stuck to sleep in my car. So i parked it into the woods. I went to the truck and tried looking for things to keep me warm there were sweaters and a few blankets so i used them. When i went back to the backseat to make a little bed i felt someone watching over me but paid no attention to it. After that i slowly fell asleep. I later woke up during the night only to find a man that was pearl white hanging from a branch from a tree. He quickly saw me staring and jumped to another tree so i got out of my car and followed him, i was on foot and he was swinging from tree to tree. He saw me and decided to go faster so i started to run faster and faster finally he went into a window of a beautiful house so i decided to stare into his window he looked at me from his balcony and he jumped and landed right in front of me it was amazing all i could do is say how? He didn't answer and all he said was ,'' How was the Giants game did they win?'' I was shocked that he knew i was there and i asked him how did you know i went and he said, '' you still have your jersey on and i saw you on T.V.'' After that he smiled and so did i after that he helped me find my car which took about two hours and we talked about so much we decided to go to the last Giants Vs. Nationals game.

La Push?

Eric invented Bella to go to a beach called La Push. She ended up going but she asked Edward if he would like to come and he said he was going camping for the weekend. When Bella got to the beach she noticed Jacob an old friend and he told her an ancient story that the Cullen family were vampires. I think Bella will tell Edward that she knows he's a vampire. ''You have goose bumps'' said Jacob, Jacob told Bella that she had goosebumps after he told her the story that the Cullen family were vampires. I think Bella is really a big coward but she tries to act strong, she tells people that she can handle when she can't. Like she told Jacob that she could handle the story when she can't and she got scared. Jacob also tolled Bella, ''Seriously though, don't say anything to Charlie. He was pretty mad at my dad when he heard that some of us weren't going to the hospital since Dr. Cullen started working there.'' I think Jacob likes to start a lot of things he didn't have to tell Bella the old stories, he's kind of an instigator. Edward is my favorite character so far he seems to be more mysterious and adventurous. This book makes me feel like i want to be a part of the story too, like i want to be a character. I wish that the book was completely different from the movie so i don't know what's coming up.

''Yeah, a voice called loudly from behind me, making me jump again as i tried to hurry down the street. We just took a little detour.'' Bella and Edward really like each other and they want to take it farther than friends. I think that there relationship will go farther than friends very quickly. I just wonder what his family thinks about him dating a human do they disapprove? I chose this book because i seen the movie and i enjoyed it and many friends said that the book was much better and i wanted to read something i would enjoy because I am a very picky reader. I think quote shows that Bella is afraid but doesn't show I think she just puts on act like nothing bothers her but they really do and it scares her to death, but she stays strong for others. I really like the book so far it's a little different then the book like they didn't add the part when Bella passes out in Biology class and Edward takes her home but i like that it's different because it makes it exciting not knowing whats going to come up but you have an idea of what is. I think overall it's a great book!

Before Edward and Bella new of each other they both had sad lives. Edward would just sit in his room wondering if he could ever have someone to car for like his siblings have another. He would only come out of his room for dinner, camping and school. Other than that Edwards life was pretty boring. Bella's life on the other hand was very entertaining but could be better. She would go out frequently with friends but would not enjoy herself as she would like too. She would only go to please her friends. Bella got accepted to a new school that would get her a scholarship to any college she wished. Bella was a great softball player so she decided she would transfer because her mom and dad didn't have money for her to go to college. It just happened to be the same school Edward had gone to. When she arrived for her first day she had sat next to him in math. He was so pleased to meet her, he quickly found her pleasing to the eye. He didn't know how to start talking to her so he decided to be quite until he knew what to say but instead he couldn't even look at her so he just ignored her and did his business. After class he tried not to touch her anyway avoiding to make contact. After school Bella quickly despised Edward and was furious with him and decided to ignore him. To be continued.

Chelsea, her father, her friend Shoniqua and her mother Latifa had gone on a trip to Costa Rica. Chelsea mother had died a couple months ago and decided to take her father her friend and her friends mother to a all expense pay trip to Costa Rica. Her dad had got stopped at the security officer at the airport and had a ''lighter, wrench, three nail files, a pair of pliers, a screwdriver and a nectarine that had fallen,'' the only thing the security officer took was the lighter which made Chelsea confused because he had enough supplies to make a bomb! From there i knew that Chelsea dad was going to be hard to handle, i was also wondering what kind of trouble he would have gotten himself into! It was Fathers day so Chelsea had made breakfast for her dad. Her dad complained about the food and suggested she should of put paprika but they didn't have any. After that she decided she was going to go down to the beach so went and got on her swimsuit and while she left her dad was saying things like, ''Look at the body.'' He was getting on Chelsea nerve and she decided to send her sister and her three kinds to Costa Rica all expense paid if they came because Shoniqua and her mom Latifa were leaving when they got there Chelsea had never been so happy in her whole life to see kids. She ended up cooling down at the end of the trip and they ended up being , '' the best of times.'' I think Handler put this to be her last chapter because she finally found a way to not get annoyed of her dad and turn it around and have a great time! I think id i were Chelsea i would of spent more time with my dad and had realized to take advantage of him in mu life sooner.

Chelsea had flied out a midget named Kimmy to the set of her show. Once she saw Kimmy she had thought it was a mini me of her but smaller features. Once Kimmy came to Los Angeles and did the shoot Chelsea asked her to come to a stand up comedy show that she was doing. Chelsea said, ''I can't explain where these feelings come from, & that they are reviled only by my deep affection for penguins.'' I wonder why Chelsea has this obsession with midgets i personally think this a weird obsession. Well before the show Chelsea and Kimmy got to know each other over dinner and Kimmy kept on drinking rum and coke, Chelsea thought that her little body couldn't handle all that alcohol. Kimmy was talking about her second husband being in prison and trying to gather money to bail him out and if Chelsea would lend her money for her phone bill. After the show she found Kimmy outside talking to five other comedians and she was boozed. Chelsea asked her if she wanted to go but she said no and she kept insisting on leaving but she didn't. Chelsea was just saying to herself, '' As if I was just going to leave my little doppelgänger alone at a comedy club surrounded by a group of male comics.'' After this Kimmy was crying and Chelsea felt bad so she wanted to gather money to help Kimmy's husband out of prison one of the directors said that she was a con artist and don't fall for scams. After that she gathered $657 to help bail him out. She gave it to her and told her to call once she got it but she never did and Chelsea got a hold of Kimmy's mom and she said that Kimmy had went to Costa Rica and was now a scuba instructor. I wonder why Kimmy would do something like that? If i was a character in the story i would of called where Kimmy was staying and i would giver her a peace of my mind! I think Handler should of gave us a little more information on how Kimmy got into the acting business and why they picked her!

Reading Journal 3:
Chelsea had adopted two children's from over seas . ''One was 9 years old girl from Guatemala and the other one was a 13 year old boy from Zimbabwe. She would just be paying for their food, clothing, and books.'' Chelsea publisher had called her if she wanted to do a, '' little press for her book's British release date.'' Which she had to go to London for ten days in February, so she decided to ask her friend Sara if she would like to go because her fiance left her two weeks before her wedding day. When they got to London Sara had planned out a big list of events that her and Chelsea can do while they're there. Sara had planned to go to a restaurant where you eat in the dark. Chelsea wasn't all that excited but she went they ended up getting kicked out of the restaurant for taking off her sweater. They decided they would go to a fish and chips place instead. When they got there Sara asked Chelsea if she would ask the people next to them for a cigarette. So she did but she used a London accent and they talked to the people next to them the whole time they were asking about her accent and how it was so strong and drilling her where she grew up and such. After they stopped talking about Chelsea they found out they were talking too a band member from The Eagles and his wife. They ended up just going back to the hotel and then home the next morning. I thought the man that was talking to Chelsea was going to find put that she wasn't really from London and he was going to put her on the spot but he didn't. I really like that Chelsea is very entertaining and she can just make up things from the top of her head i find her very amusing. I think Handlers message is just act normal because one lie can lead to another and another and soon enough you are in a swarm of lies and all you want to do is get away, but if you just tell the truth from the beginning you will want to stay and hang out some more and won't regret anything as if you would of if you just lied.

After Chelsea tells us about the whole lying incident she goes on saying that she was a babysitter for one little boy and his older brother which was older then her and that he was a sagar addict. He got a hold of his dads ice cream and was of the wall with Chelsea so she told the family, ''I have a sister named Sloanne who is older than me & has much more experience with emotional illness.'' She ended up making a lot of money from babysitting. The next chapter goes on saying how she got a DUI and went to jail for two nights. She went longer because she had a warrant for fraud. She had been using her sisters I.D. to get into bars which she was underage. Her sister was the one who had reported her to the Federal Bureau Inverstigation. She was so mad at her that she was thinking about killing her. She also didn't want her dad to find out because he would be mad but he did find out and he was mad at Chelsea sister Sloanne for doing that to Chelsea. Her bail was a lot so her aunt put a lien on there house. She ended up getting bail but she had met a girl there which she thought was her soul mate. I honestly thought she wasn't going to afford her bail but she did. I think she did what she did because she didn't know her consequences because if she would of known on how much trouble she could of got into she wouldn't of done it. I feel like Handler does a really good job on describing the events in her life.

Book Title: Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea

This book is an Autobiography about the comedian Chelsea Handler. She tells us how she was when she was younger and what she did. When she was in the fourth grade she didn't do her homework and she lied and said that she couldn't do it because she was co-staring in a movie with Goldie Hawn. The lie got bigger and soon enough the whole school knew about it and the popular girls didn't pick on her any more and she liked it that way. They use to pick on her because her family made less money and because her father owned a used car dealership and one day dropped her off in a yellow car. Since then they never let it go. After the lie got deeper the teacher decided to call her house. Her mother and father found out and her dad told her she had to set the story straight. So she went up stairs and wrote letter to Goldie Hawn to her saying, ''My Dearest Chelsea, Working together has been a dream come true. Love Always Goldie (your second mom.) As soon as she got the letter she made copies and put them around school then she said that she couldn't do the film any more and soon enough the word of her that she wasn't going to be in the movie had got around school. This story makes me wonder about how when i was younger and if i was ever this bad. I also choose this story because a friend recommended it to me and I read a chapter and it was very entertaining! Overall i have liked this book and i wouldn't change anything!
