New Moon, Reading Journal #3
When Edward was younger he was a very good child, he would come home and do all his homework and then go to his baseball practice. He tried to be the best that he could so his single mom could be proud of him. See Edward was the only child his mom had, his dad left him when he was a couple months and has no family but his mother. His mom worked like crazy and he practically raised himself. His mom worked hard to keep them off the streets. Edward would come home and do his homework everyday and then practice and some how go to the grocery store so his mom didn't have to go and then he would cook dinner. he was doing this all st the age of ten. He then got older and met some people he shouldn't have when he got mixed in with the wrong crowd it was hard to avoid. One day Edwards mom tells him that he needs to stop and do something that would be better for him in the future so he decided to join the air force and when he does he gets hurt and meets one of the nurses that was helping him, they end up falling in love but when he comes out he finds out that she is no where to be found so he goes off looking for her but to this day he still can't find her.

Miserable Bella
New Moon, Reading Journal #2
Edward left Bella because he thought he was putting her in too much danger. She was very depressed for the next couple of months so her dad told her she had to change or she would be sent to live with her mom so she decided to go to the movies with Jessica and notices that when she has an adrenalin rush she sees Edward and she does some crazy things. I believe that Bella will go looking for new adventures and will get hurt bad because she is not thinking this through and because she is very clumsy. This story makes me wonder that teenage girls will do anything for a guy and I think it's ridiculous! My favorite character has always been Edward I think he's a nice guy and he makes smart decisions he just never comes through with them but now he is and he is very respectful and I like him a lot. I didn't like how Bella is always depressed I don't feel like she has anything to offer the world let alone Edward. But i think she adds a good role in the book because in every book you should have one person you don't like.
